Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD Review: Legit Broker or Just Another Scam?

About me
Table of Contents
We publish an Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD review as a warning to traders about the emergence of yet another Forex/CFD scam broker. Once again, we see how fraudsters modestly claim that more than 2 million users trust them and promise extremely favorable trading conditions, a high-tech trading terminal, and maximum security of transactions and funds held in accounts. At the same time, they talk about industry awards and prizes they have never received and conceal their activities behind the name of a real company that has simply been misappropriated illegally. If you need more details, you will find them below.
Does Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD Show Any Risk Factors?
Practice shows that many potential clients of a broker, after visiting the homepage, are not inclined to look for additional information about the company. Meanwhile, in order to objectively assess its activities and the legality of the services provided, it is essential to analyze the official details of the platform. This is exactly how we found the most convincing arguments showing that the project was created by fraudsters.
However, everything in due order. The About page provides full information about the company:
- A registered address in Singapore.
- The date of registration and the date of the latest financial statements.
- The registration number.
- The LEI number.
Obviously, this is meant to show that the company has nothing to hide. Of course, we did not deny ourselves the opportunity to check the records of this company in the official registries.

According to the Singapore Business Directory, the broker’s details are partially confirmed. The company EXPEDITION INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is indeed registered in this country as of May 3, 2023. The registered address is 120 Robinson Road, #13-01, Singapore (068913), while the current office address is Asia Square Tower 1, 8 Marina View, #11-004, Singapore 018960.
The company operates under SSIC Code 66309 – Fund Management. This is exactly why it seems to us that a fund management company is not quite the same as a broker: the permitted activities do not include receiving and processing client orders, organizing trading, or conducting currency exchange, etc.
What is interesting is that the company even has a license from the local financial regulator, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). However, this license was issued specifically for fund management activities.

As we can see, the provision of broker/dealer services is not included in the list of activities permitted by the regulator. What does this mean?
A non-existent company (or rather, one that exists only as a website on the internet) has no real ability to organize trading. It cannot:
- Open corporate bank accounts or issue payment cards. Accordingly, it has no legal means to accept bank transfers or debit/credit card transactions, nor to hold client funds in segregated accounts.
- Officially obtain price quotes from electronic trading systems such as Reuters. As a result, quotes are supplied by “unofficial” providers, and their accuracy is not even worth discussing.
- Enter into agreements with liquidity providers. Naturally, the only counterparty to client “trades” is the broker itself — or more precisely, no real trades are executed at all. The platform merely simulates the trading process, broadcasting virtual information to users’ terminals, including fictitious data on account balances.
In practice, the fraudsters appropriate traders’ funds at the moment they are sent to the deposit. After that, clients of the pseudo-broker see false data, and they can simply forget about profit withdrawals or even the return of their funds.
We also have other evidence that this is a scam project. For example, the real Singaporean company was registered in May 2023. But when did the fake broker actually start operating online?

According to the Whois service, the domain expeditioninv.com, on which the platform’s website is hosted, was registered on January 6, 2026. In practice, this means it has been accessible to traders for only about three weeks.
If we are to believe the information on the homepage, during this short period, the company has already managed to attract more than 2 million clients and receive 50 industry awards. Of course, if the broker were really 20+ years old, as it claims on the Pro Conditions page, these figures might sound plausible. However, even officially, the company was registered only three years ago. And with a real “age” of just three weeks, it is obvious even without a calculator that these numbers are nothing more than the product of the project creators’ vivid imagination. One is tempted to advise them to work more carefully on their backstory and not to cut corners — for example, by purchasing domains with a longer history.
Is it surprising that not a single expeditioninv.com review has appeared online yet? We are more than certain that in three weeks the scammers have not managed to attract even a dozen clients. At the same time, the fraudsters themselves have already created a supposedly independent website reviewing the activities of this very platform. Needless to say, the text on its only page is overflowing with positivity. Still, it is hard to believe in its honesty, especially when all the fakes on the fake broker’s official pages are visible to the naked eye.
Let’s Break Down the Client Portal
We thought it was important to note that the broker’s Client Area has quite a few issues. Yes, registering with the broker is not difficult — it only requires a first and last name, country of residence, and contact details. But even in the client profile, the company collects almost no personal information, limiting itself to the city of residence and postal code. The absence of proper KYC becomes obvious immediately.
Things get even more interesting when it comes to financial operations. First, the personal account offers more deposit and withdrawal methods than are listed on the Deposits & Withdrawals page (which does not even mention bank transfers or P2P transactions). Second, it is impossible to fund an account without contacting company representatives. The user fills out a payment form, but after submission nothing happens.
In short, Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD did not surprise us at all. Numerous issues in the personal account of an unregulated broker are a very familiar picture. What truly surprises us is that, despite this well-known pattern, fraudsters still manage to attract clients.
What Does the Expeditioninv.com Website Reveal?
The official website of Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD looks quite attractive. The developers managed to choose an appropriate color scheme for the template and complement the texts with relevant illustrations. At the same time, the pages load extremely quickly. The only drawback is a somewhat unsuccessful choice of font size and color for text blocks, which makes some of the information difficult to read.

However, the initial positive impression turned out to be deceptive. What else can be said when:
- The entire substantive content of the Markets section pages is limited to two sentences explaining what a particular financial market is and four or five generic advantages of trading on it. Lists of trading instruments? Contract specifications that a user could review before registration? It seems the “specialists” behind this project have never even heard of such trader requests.
- In the tables pompously titled Stable and reliable pricing (which appear on several pages), there are no actual asset prices at all — only changes since the beginning of the current session. How useful do you think such information really is?
- Among the documents governing the company’s interaction with traders, several key ones are missing, such as a Risk Disclosure and a KYC Policy. Even the Terms & Conditions look more like a meaningless disclaimer than a полноценное client agreement. But what else could one expect from an unregulated broker for whom the law clearly does not apply?
- The website creators seem to have completely forgotten about educational materials. Although we suspect this was done intentionally: why improve clients’ financial literacy if they might realize they are dealing with a scam?
Is the Broker Offering Fair or Risky Terms for Traders?
We have already mentioned that Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD does not publish either a list of trading instruments or contract specifications. However, the broker still managed to surprise us. The point is that even in the account descriptions it provides not a single trading parameter.

As you can see, all the broker managed to do was list the account names, the markets available to their holders, minimum deposit amounts, and some options that, in our opinion, nobody really cares about.
So, clients of the platform can choose from five account types:
- First Step, with a minimum deposit of €100. Traders on this account receive nothing: a basic trading course and introductory lessons for five days. Clearly, this plan exists for only one purpose — to show that you can start on this project with a minimal amount.
- Basic, with a deposit starting at €1,500. Account holders get access to Forex pairs and commodity markets (which raises the question — what could be traded on the previous plan?). By investing fifteen times more than the minimum, the client gains access to support (which is obviously not included in the €100 plan), daily analytics, expert assistance, and some additional educational materials. In short, almost everything that regulated brokers provide to clients for free.
- Optional. Increase the initial deposit elevenfold (to €16,500), and the trader is promised a host of “perks.” Here you get access to the stock market, higher leverage (we mentioned that on the starter plan it is 1:200), and trading commissions reduced by 15%.
- Premium. Can you deposit at least €65,000? Then you gain access to hedge funds, indices, and ETFs. In addition, you get personal support and account insurance.
- Exclusive (VIP Investor). Available starting at a deposit of €250,000. There are few options, but all point to individual service. Presumably, this is what justifies such a high amount.
Honestly, commenting further would be pointless. It is obvious that Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD is primarily targeting beginners who have neither experience nor sufficient trading knowledge. Only they could take such promises at face value, while the personal account reveals nothing of the sort. This is nothing new — the broker promises comprehensive support and many interesting options, but after registration, the client is left alone with the market, losing everything.
We can present yet another argument proving that working with Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD is not advisable. This time, it concerns the size of the leverage. We were unable to find clear information about this trading parameter on the website. The only place where it is mentioned is on the pages of the Markets section. For example, when describing the advantages of trading on the Forex market, the broker states that on some platforms the maximum leverage reaches 1:500.
At the same time, the company’s own trading terminal contains full contract specifications. Under the First Step plan, leverage of 1:200 is set for major currency pairs (which are usually considered the benchmark). Given that for other account types this parameter typically increases along with the size of the initial deposit, we can conclude that the leverage offered to traders is excessively high.
Even 1:200 on the entry-level plan is an extreme value. It should also be noted that the company does not distinguish between retail and professional traders. Accordingly, trading conditions are the same for everyone. However, the vast majority of non-professional traders do not know or rarely apply proper risk management rules. What does this lead to?
With leverage of 1:200, having a balance of $100, a user can open a position worth $20,000, or 0.2 standard lots. In this case, the value of one pip equals $2. It is easy to calculate that a move of just 50 pips will either double the capital or wipe it out completely.
The pseudo-broker, of course, draws clients’ attention to the first scenario and conveniently keeps silent about the second. Meanwhile, for most retail traders the ratio of profitable to losing trades is 1:1 or worse. As a result, the probability of losing funds is higher than that of making a profit. In such conditions, even 2–3 consecutive losing positions are enough to “eat up” the entire deposit.
It is no coincidence that reputable regulators — for example, in the UK, the EU, and Australia — limit the maximum leverage for retail broker clients to 1:30. Only under such conditions are the risks considered acceptable. Yet even with these restrictions, more than 50% of traders lose their capital.
Technical Support Analysis of Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD
The broker’s approach to contact information is a work of art in itself. On the Contact Us page, it provides:
- A feedback form.
- A couple of email addresses.
- A phone number with the area code of Northampton, in the county of Northamptonshire, UK.
- The current office address of the real company in Singapore.
In other words, the broker borrowed the address from public sources — it’s useless trying to find its staff or offices there. The phone number is most likely a virtual line used in VoIP networks. It looks especially “convincing” when a company from Singapore does not provide local phone numbers registered at its own address but instead uses a UK number for support. You immediately want to believe that you’re dealing with an utterly honest project that never misleads clients (sarcasm, of course).
It remains to note that Expedition Investment Management PTE LTD has not established any social media profiles. Presumably, three weeks (or, pardon us, 20 years, as the broker itself claims) is insufficient time to tackle such a complex task. However, we are confident that public accounts are unnecessary — the target audience does not use them. The platform’s owners follow a different strategy for attracting clients — personal calls from company employees. This is how they can identify exactly those who will hand over money to the scammers.
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Fast website loading.
- Low entry threshold of just €100, an amount any trader can afford.
- The broker uses the name of a real Singaporean company but operates solely online without official registration.
- The pseudo-company naturally has no license to provide brokerage services, and its activities are illegal.
- Information about the broker’s existence, awards, and the number of active clients is fake.
- Trading conditions and other information important to traders are hidden.
- There are no reviews of the platform online; thematic portals label the project as a scam.

Trading with Expedition Investment Management Pte Ltd is just fantastic! Trades only turn profitable after you send in additional funds, and if you ignore the expert’s advice and decide that $2,000 on your account is enough, you won’t see any profit at all. There’s no way to break this cycle – the only solution is to get out of it. When I tried to withdraw the remaining balance, they told me I first had to make various payments: for insurance, fees, etc. There’s no guarantee that I would actually receive my money afterward, so I decided not to continue funding these scammers!

When attempting to withdraw funds from a trading account, numerous problems and additional conditions arise that completely negate all the benefits of working with this company. My experience with the company is negative.
